PEORIA, Ill. -- The Civic Center is packed this weekend for the Home show, among other many events, but next weekend the Grigorovich Ballet will return to Peoria for their first U.S. tour in a decade.

In preparation for the big weekend, dancers from the ballet Friday offered a Master class for aspiring local dancers. Students from beginners to more advanced turned out for a chance to learn from members of the prestigious Russian ballet company.

In addition to lessons, the students got an up-close look at what makes this ballet so unique and special.

"Well this ballet, it's like no other. It's definitely legendary and it's something you can't just possibly go to the local theater and just see anytime. These tours are held very rarely and this is something you'll never see like no other. Truly something spectacular," said Tim Lutsky of the Grigorovich Ballet.
