Spreading Kindness at Eastland Mall

Shoppers be prepared, this isNational Random Acts of Kindness Week and Eastland Mall with the help of volunteers is going to create smiles.

Shoppers will be surprised with a variety of gifts throughout the week including gift baskets, some gift cards from stores in the mall plus free food and drinks.

These acts of kindness will take place throughout the week.

This is Eastland Mall's first year participating in National Random Acts of Kindness Week and they hope it becomes a tradition.

"The support of our customers throughout the year and the success that we've been experiencing, we hope that it continues and hope to be able to do it again in 2012," said Justine Robinson, Assistant General Manager Eastland Mall.

Heartland Community College is helping by providing volunteers.

The week's grand prize is said to be a 200-dollar gift card from Rogers and Hollands.
