PEORIA, Ill. -- There may be snow on the ground but that didn't stop this group from playing outside.

It is all part of Hope Swings, a mission trip to Washington to build swing sets for those who lost their homes in the November tornado.

Middle and High school youth groups from throughout the country will travel to Washington this summer with a goal of building 100 swing sets.

A group was in town this week to build three for display purposes.

While many people don't think this is a top priority, those building them say it's something for the children to look forward to.

"I think this is good, we can do something, maybe not the main thing like building a house but it still can provide happiness for the children and families," said Neil Berkel from Troy, Illinois.
