A wrongful death lawsuit filed by the parents of a former Bradley University soccer player has been partially settled.

Danny Dahlquist is the Bradley student who died in house fire in August of 2007, a fire that was the result of three of his friends setting off fireworks into his second floor bedroom.

According to the Dahlquist family attorney, three of those responsible for the fire, Ryan Johnson, Nicholas Mentgen and David Crady will pay a total of $700,00 to the Dahlquist estate.

A fourth man convicted in the case, Daniel Cox, has not yet settled.

All four pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges and served jail terms.
