Traffic Stop Nets $22,000 Drug Bust

Four Arizona men are behind bars in McLean County Friday night..

After a traffic-stop Thursday morning revealed they were transporting about nine pounds of marijuana.

27 year-old Corey Kelly, 26 year-old Jermaine Gates, 22 year-old Dameon Freeman, and 18 year-old James Bowers.. Appeared in court today on charges of 'delivery of cannabis over thirty grams'.. A class-four-felony.

Authorities say just after 11 A-M yesterday on I-55 north of Towanda...

A McLean County sheriff's K-9 unit stopped their vehicle for speeding. Soon after, the officer discovered the cannabis hidden in the car's spare-tire-compartment.

Authorities say the street value of that amount of marijuana is about $22,000
