Two Men Hospitalized After Harrison Homes Shooting

An overnight shooting in Peoria's sends two people to the hospital.

Peoria Police responded to a shooting at Harrison Homes around 1:30 Saturday morning.

According to authorities, an officer enroute noticed a vehicle that matched the description of an SUV seen speeding away from the complex at 2722 West Trewyn.

When signaled to pull over, a woman driving the vehicle got out and told police two men had been shot.

Inside the vehicle were 27-year-olds, John Timothy and James Irby.

Authorities say Timothy had been shot once in the right leg and Irby had sustained two gunshot wounds to his stomach.

Both men were conscious and alert but police say they are not cooperating with the investigation.

Neither of their injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
