Ida Mae Anderson
PEORIA--- Ida Mae Anderson, 89, of Peoria Heights, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday April 10 at Heartland of Peoria.
She was born November 5, 1921 in Rushville, IL to parents Harley and Ada Chockley-Parsano and graduated from Rushville High School in 1939.
She married Harold J. Anderson on September 27, 1941 in Hannibal, MO. He survives.
Ida Mae has been a member of Peoria Heights Congregational Church for fifty years and was a member of the women’s fellowship at church. She loved to cook and was an avid fan of the Cubs, Bulls, and Bears.
Surviving her are two sons, Jerry B. (Carol) Anderson of Chillicothe, and Terry W. Anderson (Mary Pat Frugo-Spellman) of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Chad B. (Jasmin) Anderson of Seattle, WA, Cindy D. Anderson of Peoria Heights, Collin M. Anderson (fiancée Andrea) of Champaign, Ryan K. Anderson of Peoria Heights, and Connor B. Anderson of Bloomington; a great-grandson Cai B. Anderson of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Francis (Charles) Young of Rushville, IL, and Genevieve Emery of Moline, IL, as well as a brother, Ted Parsano of Rushville, IL.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Parsano and Harley Parsano, Jr.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Peoria Heights Congregational Church, with visitation at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Reverend Karl Kraemer will officiate.
Interment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
