She was born on June 26, 1932 in rural Lewistown to David E. and Beulah E. (Murphy) Bobzin.
She married Samuel L. Laswell in Canton on July 2, 1955. He survives.
Other survivors include her daughter Betty (Curtis) Walters of Canton, two granddaughters Tiffany Cox and Rebecca (Eric) Glenn, Edward Laswell of London Mills, a nephew whom she helped raise.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Glenn Bobzin.
Wilma was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton. She was a 1950 graduate of Canton High School and a former member of the Moose.
She had worked at Graham Hospital for 10 years in dietary and 18 ½ years at the Kelley Home in dietary. She was noted as the world’s best field trip monitor for her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 20 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be held one hour prior.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
