George Edward Fulton, 64, of Pontiac, passed away at 4:22 pm on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at his home in Pontiac.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Saunemin United Methodist Church. Rev. Jane Bradford will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Pontiac and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial will follow services at Sunny Slope Cemetery in Saunemin.

Memorials may be made to Futures Unlimited or the Saunemin United Methodist Church.

George was born April 4, 1948 in Saunemin a son of Bill and Mary (Lawrence) Fulton.

Surviving are his two brothers: Bill Fulton and Jim (Ruth Ann) Fulton both of Saunemin; one sister: Vera (Ray) Price of Bloomington; one nephew: Daniel Fulton of Saunemin; and one niece: Katie Otte of New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

George was born and raised in Saunemin and was a member of the Saunemin United Methodist Church. He had been residing at Prairie View Futures Unlimited Home for the past six years. He loved birds and being outdoors.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the people at OSF St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Bloomington for their gentle kindness and especially to George’s dear friends at Futures for their extraordinary loving care.
