Norma was born on November 12, 1922 in Springfield, Illinois to Albert and Ethel Davison McMillan. She married Robert Sullivan, Jr. on August 11, 1945 in Bell Gardens, California. Bob died on May 27, 2004 in Peoria.
Among those surviving is one daughter, Debbie (Chuck) Johnston of Washington; two sons, Greg Sullivan of Danvers and Doug (Joy) Sullivan of Chillicothe; two sisters, Ruth Hergenrother and Kathryn (John) Gustafson of Springfield; one brother, Roy (Juanita) McMillan Springfield; four grandchildren, Chuck, Missy, David and Jenny and three great grandchildren, Hailey, Dominic and Gabrielle.
Norma had worked for several years in the binding department at Multi Ad in Peoria and prior to that was active on the family farm prior to moving to Washington. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington.
She had been active in Mohammed Shrine activities along with her husband, Bob. They also enjoyed many years of traveling together. Norma treasured the time she could spend with family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Norma will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Mason-White Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Goodell officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following services and burial of cremains will be later at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital or Crossroads Methodist Church.
