Deborah K. Crusen, 52, died at OSF St. Francis Hospital at 2:50 am on Sunday, March 24, 2013 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Peoria on July 10, 1960 to Ronald W. and Mary Anna Venzon Shipp. She was the wife of Daniel Crusen of Bartonville. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Patrick and Brandon Wikoff of Bartonville; two step-daughters, Courtney (Troy) Girdler of East Peoria and Lindsay Crusen of Uniontown, PA.; two brothers, Ronald (Kimberly) Shipp of Peoria and Donald (Rose) Shipp of Peoria Heights; and two sisters, Diane (Greg) Hill and Pam (Kenny) Moyer, both of Cape Coral, FL.
Deborah was an assistant cashier and electronic banking officer at South Side Bank, having been employed there for 35 years. She was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary #979 in Bartonville.
Debbie’s world revolved around Patrick and Brandon. She also enjoyed sports, music, and gardening. Debbie had a zest for keeping life’s demands in order.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Church at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Msgr. Brian Brownsey will officiate. Visitation will be at Wright & Salmon Mortuary from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, March 26. Cremation rites will be accorded following the Mass. Private family burial services will be held at Parkview Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Bartonville St. Jude Runners c/o South Side Bank.
A luncheon will be served at St. Jude K of C on Hill Street immediately following the Funeral Mass.
