Frank Burian, 64, of Lewistown, died at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Graham Hospital in Canton.
He was born on May 12, 1948 in Chicago to Leroy and Helen Krulac Burian. His mother preceded him in dath.
Frank married Vicki Herrin on January 1, 2000 in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving is his father of St. David, three children Danny (Marianne) Herrin of Canton, Angela Brooks of Canton, Shane Herrin of Astoria, two brothers, Lee Burian of St David, Bob (Colleen) Burian of Bryant, one sister, Carolyn (Ed) Mahay of Berwin, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two nieces and one great niece.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict where he earned the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
He worked for Caterpillar and later for Morton Welding. He was an avid Cubs Fan, wood worker, fisherman and a model railroader.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton followed by military rites. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation rites have been accorded. with burial of ashes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
