Kathryn M. Seiwell, 92, of East Peoria, formerly of Dunlap, passed away at 7:20 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Fondulac Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 15, 1920 in Peoria to Albert E. and Ina M. (Keim) Hague. She first married John Symonds, Jr. and later married James B. Seiwell whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister and 1 grandson. Surviving are her children, Thomas (Carol) Symonds of Bartonville, Shirley (George) Cusack of Brimfield, William (Dolores) Symonds of Brimfield and Ronald (Sharon) Symonds of East Peoria, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 step-sons, 1 step-daughter and several nieces and nephews. Kathryn was a clerk for 9 years at Kresge’s in Sheridan Village before becoming a homemaker in 1964. Her hobbies included sewing, embroidering, crafts, gardening and canning. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family. She was a member of Dunlap Home Extensions. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be tonight, Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the chapel.
