BRIMFIELD – William Wayne Lloyd, 83, of Brimfield, died peacefully in his home at 9:02 a.m., Monday, April 29, 2013.;Wayne was born on September 3, 1929, in Peoria to Leroy and Violet (Shoff) Lloyd.;He is survived by two sons, Wayne Lloyd of Springfield, IL and Randy (Jona) Lloyd of Brimfield, and one daughter, Robyn Lloyd of Spring Bay. Wayne was blessed with seven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.;He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy “Bud” Lloyd of California and Donald Lloyd of Brimfield, and one sister, Carol “Bacon” Lowe of Farmington.;Wayne worked for Peoria Machines in the 1950’s, and then at Peoria-Pekin Union Railroad until his retirement in 1994.;He enjoyed life on his family farm, taking care of his cattle and property. He lived life to the fullest, surrounded by the things he loved most, his family and the outdoors.;A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Wright & Salmon Mortuary. Deacon Robert Myers will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
