Harold A. Becker, 90, of Pontiac, passed away Thursday June 20, 2013 at 1:30 pm at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.;Funeral services will be held on Monday June 24, 2013 at the First Lutheran Church of Pontiac at 10:30 am, with Rev Dieter Punt officiating. Visitation will be Sunday June 23, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Pontiac. Burial will held in West Lawn Cemetery, Cullom, IL. Memorials in Harold’s name may be left to First Lutheran Church of Pontiac, Evenglow Lodge or Charity of Donor’s choice.;Harold was born on November 2, 1922 in Emington, Illinois a son of Nicholas and A. Elizabeth (Heppe) Becker. He married Betty Mosbach in 1953, she preceded him in death in 1980, He Married Eleanor Ellinger in 1981, she preceded him in death, he then married Mary Swager in 1992 and she preceded him in death in 2011.;He is survived by one daughter: Beth (Steve) Ray of Emington. Two step-daughters: Mary Ann (Paul) Altine of Normal, Betty (Larry) Haag of Bloomington. One step-son: Larry (Rhonda) Ellinger of Chatham, Illinois. One grandson: Michael (Jamie) Ray of Wilmington, Illinois, one granddaughter: Amber (Maurilio Garcia) Ray of Pontiac. Three great-granddaughters, eight step grandchildren, ten great-step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.;Harold was educated in Emington Schools, he farmed his entire life on the family farm near Emington. he owned and operated Harold Becker Trucking and did custom corn shelling and loved to play Euchre.
