East Peoria- Lucile B. Dillenbeck, 99, of East Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 7:37AM at Washington Christian Village in Washington. \\nLucile was born on December 3, 1913, in Oakville, IA to Herschel and Ruby Trimmer Kemp. She married Charles W. Dillenbeck on December 28, 1940 in Lexington, IL. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1969 in Peoria, IL. \\nShe is survived by her daughter, Donna (Roger) Van Zandbergen of Metamora, three grandsons;Curt (Polly) Hagey of Tremont, Chris (Jodi) Dillenbeck and Matt (Brooke) Dillenbeck, all of Michigan, two granddaughters;Anita (Brad) Madden of Washington and Noel (Brian) Schuman of Michigan, and her seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. \\nLucile is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, two brothers, and one son, Leonard Dillenbeck.\\nShe was a member of First United Methodist Church of East Peoria where she was active in the Naomi &Rachel Fellowships as well as the food pantry for many years. She was also a member of East Peoria Women’s Club, a member of Central City Chapter #42 Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years, she worked in Cub Scouts for 3 years, volunteered in East Peoria’s Festival Of Lights, and walked in Relay for Life.\\nThere will be a funeral service at 11AM on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Pastor Mary Arnold will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. \\n
