Wyoming, IL;Wyoming – Donna A. Hickey, 72, of rural Wyoming, passed away at 12:55 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2013, at Bickford Senior Living, Peoria.;Donna was born July 23, 1941, in Kewanee, the daughter of Thomas and Angela Owens Sager. She married Gerald Hickey on August 21, 1965, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Camp Grove. He survives.;Also surviving are one son, Bill (Liza) Hickey of Camp Grove, one daughter, Molly (Brian) Loeffler of Stanford, IL, two grandchildren, Collin and Addison, one brother, David (Sharon) Sager of Speer, and two sisters, Joyce (John) Raducha of Michigan, and Sally Hansen of Nevada. Her parents and one brother, Jerry Sager preceded her in death.;Donna attended University of Illinois and graduated from Bradley University with a B.A. in education. She taught at Valley Elementary and Edelstein Elementary Schools. After teaching she was owner of The Gift Box, an art and craft business from 1984-2009. She and her husband enjoyed traveling.;Donna was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Camp Grove and was very active in its Altar & Rosary society.;Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2013, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Wyoming. Father Vien Van Do will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Camp Grove.;Memorial contributions may be made to St. Dominic Catholic Church in Wyoming or a charity of the donor’s choice.;Haskell-Hott Funeral Homes in Wyoming is in charge of arrangements.
