The 2014 Winter Olympic games will air on WEEK and to get into the spirit, we want to introduce you some of those representing the U.S.A.

Most of you already know Patrick Kane as a star on the world champion Chicago Blackhawks. But in a couple weeks, he will be wearing the stars and stripes as a member of the U.S. Olympic hockey team.

The 25 year old said he is excited and the threat of terrorism at the games won't be getting him down.

"If I'm worried about that, my head's in the wrong area," he said. "I'm worried about going over, playing the game and doing well for my country. You hear different stuff, obviously you're going to be scared at first."

The U.S. hockey team hits the ice Thursday, February 13 against Slovakia.

Best of luck to them and all of our athletes traveling to Russia.
