In Morton one of the lesser known Olympic sports was on display at the annual Water Ballet Show.
Two dozen synchronized swimmers performed at the Morton Pool in Idlewood park.
It was the culmination of 4 or 8 week classes in a sport that gets most of its attention once every four years.
"That always does provide some increased interest after we have an Olympic year," said Director of synchronized swimming in Morton Zoe Evelsizer. "The girls really get to see what synchronized swimming looks like in competition and then we usually have a larger enrollment the following year."
Olympic synchronized swimming gets underway a week from tomorrow in London.
