Two former members of Illinois State University's football team are facing felony theft charges after allegedly stealing a classmate's wallet. Police say Cameron Thompkins of Florida and Micha Gordon of Peoria were arrested Thursday and each posted 500-dollars cash bond.
The alleged theft happened late last month near ISU's campus. ISU officials say Thompkins and Gordon were dismissed from the team Thursday because of quote-"violation of team rules."
