A comeback story for Bradley as Jim Les and the Braves wrap up their first week of summer camps.

During his 2 years playing at Bradley in the early 80's Willie Scott earned the nickname Road Runner.

Bradley Assistant Coach Willie Scott said, "It's like a family reunion, everybody is just so excited and I'm so excited. The nice thing about it is I didn't know what to expect. It's been so long I thought everybody had probably forgot about the roadrunner."

Bradley Basketball Coach Jim Les said, "It says a lot about our experience at Bradley, our experience living in this community and being a student athlete in this community that we're willing to come back and wanting to come back."

After leaving Bradley the Roadrunner played nine seasons professionally in Europe once he went into the fashion business making suits for some pretty famous clients.

Scott said, "Michael Jackson, Prince, maybe half of the NBA Shaq, Dewayne Wade, Michael Finley, Several NBA Players, Jim Les let's not forget Jim Les."

Les said, "If you look good, you play good so we are hoping that works out because we're going to look awful good."

Scott is still making suits but has turned his attention to coaching full-time with the Braves and he has big dreams for the future.

Scott said, "When I decided to coach at Jackson State 3 years ago as an assistant I called Jimmy and told him Hey JimmyI had a dream we we're going to win the National championship and I know he thought I was crazy, but it was a dream"

Scott and Les as well as Bradley fans hope that one day that dream does come true.
