The Redbirds got one more shot with 0.8 left on the clock, however Brown was whistled for stepping out of bounds after receiving the cross-court entry pass.
Wichita State opened the game with an 11-0 run, thanks to five points from Joe Ragland, who finished with a team-best 15 points. ISU’s Moore broke the Redbirds’ scoreless drought with a three-pointer from the right corner with 15:57 remaining in the first half.
