The Illinois State Redbirds fell just short of their
automatic N-C-double-A Tournament hopes Sunday, losing
to nationally-ranked Creighton in overtime.
I-S-U's run to the title game should be enough to get
them in the N-I-T.
It's certainly a good omen for next season.
