The Illinois State Redbirds open the exhibition season this Sunday at 2 p.m. against Quincy College.
Junior Jackie Carmichael is coming off a double-double in Sunday's Red-White scrimmage.
The Birds will be counting
on Carmichael for that kind of leadership all season long.
