No holiday for the U-High baseball team on Monday.
The Pioneers explode for 7 runs in the final
inning of the supersectional, beating
Quincy Notre Dame 11-1 and earning
a trip to Peoria.

Meantime, Tremont's baseball-softball supersectional doubleheader ended with two losses. The Turks lost to Tuscola in the Champaign 2A super 10-6, while the Lady Turks lost 4-3 to Williamsville in the Athens softball supersectional.
