Youngman leaves Metamora basketball program

Jim Youngman has resigned as Metamora's boys basketball coach to take a coaching job in Kentucky. Youngman has been named the new boys basketball coach at Greenup County High School in Kentucky.

Youngman told HOI-19 Sports that leaving Metamora was a tough decision but he was excited about going to a basketball-crazy high school. Youngman led Metamora to a 18-10 record this past season. He has been a high school coach at 7 different Illinois high schools including Heart of Illinois stops at DePue, Abingdon and Metamora.
