The Peoria Chiefs had a special promotion tonight that's getting national attention.
Every fan attending the game received their very own replica of the 2011 NBA Championship Ring that Lebron James won with the Miami Heat.
Also on hand was a replica of the MVP trophy that James won...
The catch is that Lebron and the Heat lost the NBA Finals, and James didn't win a trophy or a ring.
The promotion poking fun at the NBA All-Star is getting the Chiefs National attention with stories appearing in the USA Today and on Sports Illustrated.com.
And the media rush isn't over yet. Chiefs President Rocky Vonachen will be on ESPN's Outside the Lines Friday at 2 p.m.
