New York Knicks point guard Ramond Felton turned himself into police early Tuesday morning, hours after the Knicks game Monday night.
Felton was arrested and is now facing three counts of criminal possession of a firearm.
The 29 year old was charged with second and third degree possession of a gun, which are felonies, and fourth degree possession, which is a misdemeanor, according to a spokesman.
Felton is not accused of using the firearm in a threatening way. The charges are for being in possession of a gun that wasn't registered to him.
The nine year veteran of the NBA signed a three year $10 million contract with the Knicks in 2012.
