Hockey season officially begins today in Peoria as the Rivermen open training camp.
They'll play their first exhibition game on Friday night at Carver Arena.
They have assembled quite a group so far.
Brett Sterling scored 56 goals in the AHL a few years back, while Jonathon Cheechoo once scored 56 in the N-H-L.
There are more cuts to come in St. Louis, which means even more help is on the way for Peoria.
