HINSDALE, Ill. -- The 2014 Illinois gubernatorial race is building as yet another republican state senator tosses in his hat.

Kirk Dillard of Hinsdale will make his official candidacy announcement on Monday.

Dillard is expected to kick off his official campaign during a state fly around, which includes a stop in Peoria.

Dillard is the fourth republican to enter the race.

He joins state Treasurer Dan Rutherford, Chicago businessman Bruce Rauner, and fellow state Senator Bill Brady.
