Arrest Made in 2009 Englebrecht Killing

Mason county police have arrested a Pekin man in connection with the 2009 homicide of Dustin Englebrecht.

33 year old Randy Deskin is charged with first degree murder of the Mason city man.

Deskin was actually in prison when he was arrested today.

He's been serving a term for crimes committed in Tazewell County.

Randy Deskin was indicted two months ago by a Mason County Grand Jury, for the killing of Dustin Englebrecht, a friend and one-time relative through marriage.

The 27 year old Englebrecht was reported missing by his family in late August of 2009.

fter an intensive search, Englebrecht's body was found buried near his residence on September of 2009.
