Automobile Extrication Exercise

Residents got to have a day in the life of a fireman and an EMT.

They learned how to break glass the correct way using certain equipment and how to use the jaws of life, all while keeping the patient safe and under control.

Thursday's simulation training day was a way the students could not only learn about what rescue workers do, but also learn what their patients go through before entering the ER.
