BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Bloomington's downtown is taking on a new and more colorful look.
At the corner of Main and Market Streets there will be two murals, one is complete. The completed mural commemorates 100 years of Girl Scouting.
The design and painting was done by Troop 6538. Across the street, there is still a work in progress. Forty local artists have been commissioned to paint a large mural each painting a part of a grid.
This mural is made possible by Frontier Communications. This is all part of an effort by the Downtown Bloomington Association to call attention to an activity artistic community.
