The chef from Johnny's Italian Steakhouse has a new recipe for you to try.

He shows you how to sear marinated tuna bites topped with the flavors of the garden.

Just take a five ounce tuna steak, marinate it in a vinagarette dressing. Sear the tuna on medium heat until medium rare. Watch the tuna closely because it can burn quickly. Remove the tuna from the oven top and set aside to cool before slicing it into four or five bite size pieces.

Then chop two roma tomatoes, mix with chopped red onions and fresh basil. Add balsalmic vinegar and olive oil. You can also toss in a little garlic and lemon juice for extra flavor.

Top the mixture over the tuna bites and drizzle balsalmic vinegar over the plate. Enjoy!
