GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Even fans of parrots know they can get noisy at times. So, leave it to a young engineering student to find a way to keep a parrot occupied.

At least one parrot, anyway.

The bird is question is "Pepper" who belongs to the parents of University of Florida engineering student Andrew Gray.

To keep the bird's mind and beak occupied, Andrew created the one and only bird buggy. Gray says it took him four months to build the buggy and another three months just to get Pepper on it.

Pepper's YouTube video has already racked up close to 800,000 views. Gray says he has received several requests from friends asking him to build them their own "bird buggy" but says that won't be happening anytime soon.
