145 water skiers tried to break a world record for group skiing in Australia last Friday.
All 145 skiers went a full nautical mile in a Harbor in Strahan.
154 skiers had started the event, but nine fell.
To pull that many skiers, a 114 foot catamaran was modified with different propellers and towing a 308 wide boom.
Five miles of ski rope was used for the record attempt.
This same group held the previous record, with 29 fewer skiers.
The Guinness book of records is expected to rule on the attempt in a few months.
