You pick up the ball. You throw it at someone. How difficult can that be?

As it turns out, the answer is directly related to how many times you had to pick up the ball.

In Toronto, some dodgeball enthusiasts are going down in the record books..

They now have played the longest dodgeball game ever.

The dodgeball marathon started with everybody in high spirits.

36 hours later the energy levels were noticeably lower but early Sunday morning their dream of setting the Guinness world record for continuous dodgeball playing was finally achieved.

The dodgeball warriors actually ended up playing 36 hours and 45 minutes extra time added on because of some ....technical difficulties.

Someone forgot to start the camera to prove they'd been playing until about 45 minutes went by.

Besides setting their record, the teams raising more than four thousand dollars for for the Stephen Lewis Foundation helping those in need in Africa.
