They call it the "booze bike."

Think of it as a human-powered Party Bus.

Just don't try to get on it in Fargo, North Dakota.

Officially called " The Bar Hopper," owner Jon Vannett says 15-seat pedal-powered vehicle would be chartered by riders who bring their own alcohol and drink as they cruise city streets, while a hired sober driver steers.

Vannett plans to use the bike during the North Dakota State football games.

Vannett's vehicle is approved to run in Minnesota cities because state law allows it.

Vannett argues that his business is covered under the same law that allows limousine and party bus riders to drink on board.

Fargo police say that's fine for Minnesota, but Fargo is in North Dakota, and drinking pedalers will be ticketed.
