A 56-year-old man was found unresponsive in a SplashDown pool Sunday evening.

Fon Du Lac District Police Chief Michael Johnson says pool staff found him relatively quickly on their safety sweeps, pulled him from the water, and initiated two shocks to try to revive him before medical responders arrived.

The man passed away at 9:36 Sunday evening.

Peoria Coroner Johnna Ingersoll says the man died of a heart attack due to heart disease.
