A Special Bus Trip for Harrison Homes Kids

Some local students got a treat during their summer break today.
Peoria Housing Authority officials loaded up a bus full of Harrison Homes kids for a visit to Lakeview Museum.
The youngsters got a chance to look at some of the exhibits at museum and for many of them it was their first time there.

"Like this smoke thing, you can push down on it and smoke gonna go in the air. And like this little car thing you got to pump it and it's like you are really driving," Orlando Peary said.

The group ate lunch at the museum and got a chance to watch a planetarium show afterwards.
