A veteran Peoria police officer's condition is improving after he collapsed at a Rivermen game Saturday.
The officer, who's identity is not being released, has been upgraded to stable condition.
The more than 20-year officer was working off duty as security at the Rivermen game when he collapsed from some sort of serious heart condition, possibly a heart attack.
Police say he was difficult to recesitate before he was transported to Methodist Medical Center.
One officer described his recovery as amazing.
