Peoria Siding & Window Co recieves OHSA Citation

Peoria Siding and Window Company is facing fines of over $48,000 dollars for failing to provide roofers with fall protection.

The U.S.Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited the Washington based company, today, with a willful safety violation.

The citation is connected to a November investigation conducted by OSHA at a jobsite in Pekin.

Peoria Siding is planning to appeal the violation as no one has been injured on the job.

In July 2010, the company settled on a OSHA citation for safety glasses infactions.
