The LaSalle County Sheriffs department says the recent warm weather will allow them to resume the search for the woman who disappeared after a car accident that killed her husband.
In early December Tanya Shannon and her husband were driving home from a holiday party when the car went off the road and hit a power pole.
Dale Shannon died at the scene, Tanya was no where to be found.
For more than a week dozens searched the area, but eventually weather forced the search to be called off.
The sheriff's department says it is too muddy to start searching this weekend, but except to resume the search Monday.
They also say there has been zero activity on Tayna's cell phone and credit cards.
