In tonight's community corner, now more than ever organizations like the YWCA of Peoria need the community's support for event's like "Soup for the Shelter".

You see, the demand for the YWCA's homeless services is great and its coffers are low.

Sherry Killian and Rosie Langfels are here with details on how you can help.

The Soup for the Shelter is a true community effort with a dozen area restaurants providing a variety of gourmet soups which will be ladled up by Kohl's employees.

Concordia Lutheran School students will hand paint soup mugs provided by Fired Up which will be available for sale.
