The Bloomington Normal Public Transit System is stuffing a bus full of items for the Crisis Nursery.
This is the 8th annual "Stuff a Bus" campaign in the twin cities and organizers say it gets more popular each year.
The Crisis Nursery provides temporary food, shelter and clothing to kids under six years old who are going through a family crisis.
The nursery is typically utilized when families have major health issues or when violence is involved.
This bus full of food and clothing goes a long way.
"We had our best year ever last year. We had over 2000 donated items and over 600 dollars worth of cash and gift cards donated. So we stuffed the bus last year and we hopefully Bloomington Normal will come out again tomorrow and help us do the same." said Bloomington Normal Public Transit System member Melanie Overend.
Stuff a bus will be heading to several locations throughout the twin cities through Friday where they will be picking up non perishable food items, new clothing and toys.
