Chevy Dealers across Central Illinois met in Bloomington on Friday to kick off the launch of a new compact car.

Chevrolet cruised through the city in honor of their new release, the Chevy Cruze.

The meeting was not only an opportunity for dealers to learn about the new car features, but to take one home.

"Each dealer is taking home two cars," said Scott Baum of Baum Chevrolet. "We are going to have an open house at the end of the week and sell these cars this week."

Each dealer will host an open house Saturday for the statewide launch celebration, sponsored by DriveChevy.com.
