Children at an area hospital received a huggable treat for Valentine's Day.

97.3 River Country Radio station hosted it's 5th annual Teddy Bear Valentine's Day at Children's Hospital of Illinois. The annual toy donation ensures each child a memorable celebration.

97.3 River Country's Rick Stephenson said, "There is nothing better in the world than making a child smile under the best of circumstances, much less when they are not feeling well. To see them smile, and possibly laugh under these circumstances, is a great feeling."

"I think it's wonderful that all the kids and everybody can have these humongous bears and be swamped by the media." said Cameron Reicheneker who received a teddy bear.

The River Country Radio Station donated over 1800 Teddy Bears today.
