PEORIA, Ill.-- One of central Illinois' biggest motorcycle stores is making a difference for area children for the 23rd year in a row.

Walters Brothers Harley Davidson donated over 1,700 toys to the Marine Corps Toys for tots campaign.

Each year, the shop puts on a Charity Poker run to raise money.

This year 400 riders brought in $6,000. The store used that money to buy the toys.

The store's owner says raising money for toys for tots has become tradition for the store and its 40 employees.

"We sacrifice our business for two full days, we close down the service department, it really gets them into the Christmas spirit and it makes us all feel good," said Wayne Wiebler, owner of Walters Brothers Harley Davidson.

The Walters Bros. store collects toys for most of November and also wraps gifts for a donation.
