Orlando T.V. station WFTV received complaints about a parking lot, where cars did more than parking.
So, the TV station rented a flashy convertible Corvette, equipped it with a GPS tracking device and dropped it off at the parking lot near the airport.
Just six hours later the GPS tracking device alerted the car was in motion.
WFTV has a helicopter and captured video of the lot owner and another employee joy-riding in the car.
It appears the owner was peeling out on dirt roads, driving it to Applebee's, parking it at his home overnight, loading it with lumber at his home and even allowed a dog to run around inside the car.
After two days the Corvette racked up more than 60 miles.
Finally, when confronted, the lot owner denied he ever took a joy ride in the Corvette.
