Olympic fever has hit London and penguins at the zoo are jumping into the act. Well, they're being encouraged to get into the act.
To celebrate and call attention to the upcoming Olympics, soon to be seen on NBC, a diving board was installed in the penguin tank at the London Zoo.
With the liberal use of fish, the birds were encouraged to use the one-meter-un-Olympic-sized board.
It did take a while for the penguins to get used to the whole diving board equal fish equation, but after a while some took the plunge.
One of the zookeepers said, "They almost look as if they're enjoying themselves while they're diving."
Maybe it's just the fish.
